The Durango Centre for the History of Crime is a centre for research, records and transmission of information regarding the History of Crime, on-line and open to all the international scientific community.

For researchers, the Durango Centre for the History of Crime means an easily-accessible work tool for studying criminality, la deviationism, the penal system, kinds of public order, the typology of crime, delinquents, victims, ..., and all this in a historical context. Special emphasis has been laid on medieval chronology (V-XV centuries) and, in a subsidiary manner, on modern chronology (XVI-XIX centuries).
